Meet Nimit Dave

Nimit is a Principal Architect in our Field Engineering Department. He has worked at Saviynt since 2018. Based at our location in Bengaluru, India, he collaborates with customers and partners to create solutions that add value to existing IGA implementations in their environments. When he’s not working, Dave enjoys playing cricket, cooking, and watching movies with his family.

Tell us a little bit about what you do each day at Saviynt.

I have been part of Saviynt since 2018 and currently work as a Senior Manager on the Field Engineering Team. My work is very dynamic as it involves working with multiple counterparts within and outside Saviynt to create solutions that add value to the existing IGA implementation for a customer or partner in their environment. The work is both challenging and rewarding on a daily basis.

What gets you out of bed in the morning?

The dynamic nature of the work keeps me excited each day as I experience new challenges in the broad spectrum of IGA. Sometimes a particular business is so unique that I have to bring my best peers to the table to develop a creative approach. This also gives me the opportunity to learn more about various IGA modules from my colleagues. The day ends on a high note for me if I solve the business challenge for the customer, and she responds with a small thank you note.

What do you do when you aren’t working at Saviynt?

I enjoy my free time by watching movies and web series with my family and friends. I also indulge my passion for playing cricket during weekends. And I enjoy cooking for my family.

What brought you to Saviynt?

I found out about Saviynt from a friend who works here. After hearing about his experience with the company, I decided to apply. I knew several people within Saviynt from my time at Infosys, so I had great relationships already in place.

What’s your favourite part about working here?

The best part of Saviynt is the exposure I have with some of the most brilliant minds in the industry. Each one has their own success story, big or small, and they inspire me to excel every day.

How has Saviynt challenged you to become better at what you do?

Since getting hired, I have faced several challenges designing and implementing identity solutions for our customers. Saviynt India is also a fast-growing team, which has presented various growth opportunities as well. I have gotten the chance to mentor new team members, conduct training sessions for various stakeholders, participate in recruitment efforts, and more. These experiences have broadened my skill set and helped me adapt and evolve quickly as things change. And the mentoring has also made me a better manager.

What are you most proud of in your time working at Saviynt?

I am proud of being a part of a great organization with a team of talented, creative people that are producing state-of-the-art products. I get to play a part in hitting the company’s goals and making our leaders’ vision a reality.
