Whenever we launch an innovation, the excitement in the air here at Saviynt is palpable. Today marks another day where you can feel the electricity, driven by the launch of the industry’s first Model Context Protocol (MCP) server for identity security, Saviynt MCP Server.

We're incredibly excited to be one of AWS’s launch partners with today’s release of the Saviynt MCP Server through AWS’s AI Agent and Tools storefront in AWS Marketplace. This offering provides them with a streamlined way to access our solutions, facilitating faster, smarter identity security through their favorite LLM-enabled applications.

Empowering users to be more secure, quickly and easily.

For those unfamiliar with this relatively recent technology, Model Context Protocol (MCP) servers simplify and streamline the integration process between AI models and applications such as Saviynt Identity Cloud. This allows access to information far more easily and securely.

For example, with Saviynt MCP Server, enterprises can — without code or complexity — securely grant AI models (e.g., Amazon Q, Claude, ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot and more) access to Saviynt Identity Cloud. This enables users to access information from Saviynt Identity Cloud within those LLM-enabled apps by using simple, natural language, helping them quickly and proactively identify identity-based risks and make smarter, quicker identity security decisions.

Empowered with this information, users can get intelligent context and actionable insights, without needing to pore over raw access logs or enlist the help of a data analyst. They can then use this information to identify and address identity risk throughout their organization, as well as clean up access sprawl and accelerate approvals from their MCP-connected applications.

Benefits of the Saviynt MCP Server

With Saviynt MCP Server augmenting your implementation of Saviynt Identity Cloud, your enterprise can:

1. Easily get real-time answers, “who has access to what?”

Users no longer need to rely on complex queries or technical expertise to understand identity and access in their environment. By simply asking questions in plain language — like “Who has access to this application?”— authorized users and AI agents can instantly retrieve real-time identity data across hybrid and multi-cloud environments. The MCP server intelligently correlates users, accounts, roles, entitlements (both fine-grained and coarse-grained), and applications, delivering clear, actionable insights in minutes. This empowers business users, app owners, and risk managers to make faster, more informed decisions without needing to navigate technical interfaces or write custom queries.

2. Accelerated decision making with contextual intelligence and actionable insights

Glean insights across identity, access, risk, and usage information by asking questions in your LLM-enabled app of Saviynt Identity Cloud, like you're asking another person. It will not just return with raw identity data but also transform that data into rich, explainable insights that drive smarter, faster identity security decisions. Instead of sifting through fragmented logs or static reports, users gain a clear view of access relationships — complete with full business context. This means understanding not just who has access, but why, how, and whether it’s appropriate. The MCP server identifies risky patterns and anomalies, then delivers AI-powered recommendations to help you proactively remediate threats and strengthen your identity posture. It’s not just data — it’s decision-ready intelligence.

3. NLP based governance workflows from any authorized user or AI-agent

Initiate intelligent, policy-based governance workflows from any authorized user or AI-agent to streamline identity decisions quickly and at scale. With built-in support for risk-based approvals and delegated decision-making, the MCP server empowers app owners, business users, and risk managers to act quickly and confidently. Whether using Saviynt-native workflows or custom governance logic, organizations can ensure access decisions are both fast and aligned with security and compliance policies. As time goes on, you can extend and evolve your organization’s interactions and customize queries, dashboards, and governance workflows to keep pace with your evolving ecosystem.

4. Achieve time-to-value in minutes

Easily deploy Saviynt MCP Server from the AWS Marketplace without code or unnecessary complexity to get insights within minutes of deployment. Then, integrate with other IAM, ITSM or analytics systems through hardened RESTful APIs and webhooks, with configurable access controls, to ensure everyone has the data and insights they need.

Empower your organization with smarter, and faster identity security

The Saviynt MCP Server is one of our many initiatives to help organizations securely take full advantage of the power of AI. We're excited to continue to push the envelope and bring more innovative solutions to help enterprises be confidently secure now and in the future.
