In the fast-paced digital world, developers are the heart of innovation. With Saviynt Identity Cloud, built as an API-first platform, developers get the ultimate toolkit to tackle customer identity security challenges. Our Developer Ecosystem within Saviynt Exchange, gives developers the power to design, configure, and build apps, boost platform capabilities, and share their genius with the entire Saviynt community.

What Makes the Saviynt Exchange Developer Ecosystem Special?

Saviynt Identity Cloud is built for extensibility, enabling developers to create new apps or configure apps that are available out-of-the-box in the platform. Here’s how we make it happen:

  • Comprehensive Resources at Your Fingertips:
Access detailed API documentation, step-by-step guides, and practical use-case examples to streamline your development process.
  • Flexible app building options:
Developers can effortlessly onboard applications or enhance identity security by leveraging a range of tools:
    • No code: Leverage the out-of-the-box connectors available in the Saviynt Identity Cloud platform
    • Low code: Use Saviynt’s default connectors like REST, DB, or LDAP for seamless Application Onboarding (AOB)
    • Pro code: Build and deploy applications with (1) Saviynt’s powerful REST APIs, (2) through the SDKs with the External Connector Framework (ECF), and (3) with Saviynt’s new Extension framework to run apps in a dedicated runtime

Share & Distribute Your Applications Through the Saviynt Exchange App & Solution Marketplace

To give our customers seamless access to pre-built apps and solutions, we’ve created a marketplace that acts as a central hub for discovery and consumption. Our thriving developer community uses this platform, which currently features over 400 apps and solutions, to share and distribute their innovative creations.

As a developer, you can leverage Saviynt Exchange in several ways:

  • Build applications and tools: Share your creations with our community through an open-source model.
  • Saviynt certification program: Develop applications and go through our certification process for use case validation, design, and security.
  • Resell your applications: Build applications and sell them through our marketplace.

Provide Powerful Applications for Customers

Partner and other external developers collaborate with Saviynt to tackle complex customer identity and security challenges. We believe in the power of a strong ecosystem to support our customers, acknowledging that solving every challenge alone isn’t feasible. Our partners enhance our capabilities by addressing critical use cases such as:

  • Integrating disconnected applications (Aquera & Cerby)
  • Enabling identity governance through enterprise messaging platforms like Slack (ProNoesis)
  • Creating deeper integrations with critical business systems like IBM mainframes (IDMWORKS)

Together, we deliver innovative solutions to meet our customers’ evolving needs. Some of our partners’ latest innovations include:

Aquera: Aquera’s FileOps app helps customers' identity teams to rapidly onboard and manage hundreds of disconnected applications by modernizing the entitlement file collection and ingestion process for Saviynt Identity Cloud.

They support prebuilt, out-of-the-box, and bi-directional connectors to Saviynt Identity Cloud,  syncing all joiner, mover, and leaver (JML) events on a continuous basis from various HRMS & HCM source identity systems and for lifecycle management (LCM) & identity governance. These connectors create, update, and deactivate users and their accounts in target apps while importing and aggregating user entitlement data into Saviynt.

Cerby: Cerby empowers organizations using Saviynt Identity Cloud by bringing comprehensive identity governance to disconnected applications that lack support for modern authentication and provisioning standards like APIs or SCIM.

Using the Saviynt REST connector, Cerby streamlines lifecycle management, access certifications, and time-based access controls for any app - whether legacy, homegrown, or SaaS  - bridging critical gaps in identity management. This results in enhanced security, improved governance, and a seamless user experience across the entire application ecosystem.

ProNoesis: ProBot is an advanced application designed to enhance the efficiency of approval processes by integrating Saviynt Identity Cloud with popular messaging platforms like Slack and Teams. By communicating directly with the Saviynt API, ProBot fetches user information, tracks request history, and monitors pending approvals. The app ensures users receive real-time notifications about their approval requests, which can be reviewed and acted upon directly within their Slack or Teams channels.

IDMWORKS:  IdentityForge connectors enable Saviynt customers to connect with IBM RACF, AS/400, CA Top Secret & ACF2 products to manage user lifecycle and govern access by leveraging Saviynt's LDAP connector.

Additionally, Saviynt developers have showcased CAEP (Continuous Access Evaluation Protocol/Profile) interoperability between the Saviynt Identity Cloud and the CAEP.dev service operated by SGNL. Such standards enable identity and security platforms to exchange risk signals seamlessly across decentralized environments.

We welcome all developers to explore our developer resources and discover the opportunities to build applications and extend the capabilities of Saviynt Identity Cloud. If you’re a customer,  explore the latest applications and solutions available in our app marketplace.
