Oracle Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) encompasses a collection of modules utilized by organizations to efficiently oversee their daily business operations, including tasks like accounting, procurement, project management, risk management and compliance, and supply chain operations. Due to the variety of modules within an ERP system, access privileges for specific tasks are assigned by drawing from multiple modules. These types of access translate to a hierarchical structure within roles in an Identity Governance and Administration (IGA) system, resulting in significant complexities in access management. To address these complexities, a customized solution was necessary.

The solution enables management of accounts and accesses within Oracle ERP using a custom connector based on REST standards. The solution involved development of custom roles that improved the user experience. It was further enhanced by leveraging dynamic attributes to develop custom forms to streamline the access request process
To meet strong compliance requirements and govern the risks associated with an ERP system, suitable cross-app and intra-app SOD policies were developed and enforced using preventative and detective controls.
