Tell us a little bit about what you do each day at Saviynt (Your role, responsibilities, and the impact you make on the team).

At Saviynt, I'm a Technical Training Consultant, ensuring our customers, partners, and employees are all savvy with our platform. I spend my days running training sessions, both in-person and online, to help everyone get the most out of Saviynt. To create top-notch training content, I team up with engineers, support teams, sales folks, and documentation gurus, gathering all the latest and greatest info. During the pre-sales phase, I get to show off what makes Saviynt special and how clients can make it work for them, which is always a fun challenge. I keep our training materials fresh and relevant, always on the lookout for new and exciting ways to make learning more engaging. I also record training videos, so everyone has access to the info they need when they need it. Working closely with various teams, I make sure our training programs are as awesome as possible.

What do you do when you aren’t working at Saviynt? (Hobbies, interests, extracurriculars, etc). What's your favorite way to relax?

When I’m not working at Saviynt, you’ll usually find me either on some wild adventure or completely lounging around. I love traveling, trekking, swimming, fishing, cliff jumping, and scuba diving. I’ve got two sides to my personality: one that’s always itching to explore new places and be active, and another that’s a total couch potato, perfectly happy spending an entire day rewatching my favorite shows. But whether I’m out exploring the world or chilling at home, I find my balance and enjoy life to the fullest.

Growing up, I had a library full of books, but most of them didn’t get much attention past page 20, even Harry Potter. Thankfully, audiobooks have come to my rescue, and now I listen to them all the time.

What’s the next place on your travel bucket list? Or, what’s your ideal vacation destination and why?
Japan is unquestionably my favorite. I've traveled to many countries and had countless adventures, but Japan stands out as a place I’m dying to revisit. I tried over 60 dishes and loved every single one - sushi, ramen, you name it. Its stunning mountains and beautiful beaches are perfect for any adventure lover. But what really blew me away about Japan was its people. They are super polite, warm-hearted and with incredible hospitality. They respect each other, follow the rules, and seem to have a knack for balancing ancient traditions with futuristic tech. Both my husband and I have been there separately for work, and we both fell in love with the place. Now, we can’t wait to experience it together.

If you had to eat one meal every day for the rest of your life, what would it be and why?

If I had to eat one meal every day for the rest of my life, it would be red rice, mashed tapioca, and my mother’s fish curry. This Kerala delicacy is so delicious that I could eat it every single day while I’m alive - and even beyond if that’s a thing!

What’s one item you can’t live without and why?

Well, it might sound a bit lame, but it’s my phone. I’m all about adventure, but funny enough, half of my epic stories come from accidental adventures given my zero sense of direction. And my mobile phone navigation is my lifeline. So, while I may be adventurous, I turn into a nervous wreck when I lose network coverage or my phone is switched off! The thought of being cut off from everyone is terrifying! My phone is my security blanket - it keeps me connected, helps me capture those epic moments, and lets me blast my favorite tunes or audiobooks when I need a mood boost. Plus, it’s perfect for my occasional “friendly” stalking of friends' lives. But hey, if everyone I loved were right there in front of me, I could probably live without my phone( Or can I )

What would you say to someone considering working for Saviynt?

If you’re considering working for Saviynt, I’d say go for it! When I joined Saviynt, I came with a lot of experience in training different audiences across various technologies, but I was truly amazed by the unique experience here. At my previous jobs, I trained on multiple products or projects and met new people all the time. But at Saviynt, I saw something incredible during the Saviynt University/Bootcamp. It was inspiring to see an entire organization focused on a single product and to meet so many dedicated people all working towards the same goal.

I was particularly struck by the simplicity and humility of Amit Saha, the then CEO, when he visited Bangalore. Hearing the success story of Saviynt and the brilliant minds behind it directly from them was truly motivating. The journey and growth of Saviynt have been a big inspiration for me.
