Saviynt Brings Innovation and Expertise to Identiverse 2025: Leading Identity

Author: Saviynt

“True security isn’t restraint—it’s the foundation that allows innovation to move forward without fear.”

In his keynote, Trust in the Age of Autonomous Identity, Michael Coates, Founding Partner, Seven Hill Ventures, perfectly captured the spirit of Identiverse 2025. AI and Non-Human Identities (NHIs) dominated the conversation this year, and Saviynt stepped into the spotlight to help identity teams and leaders answer the defining question of our time: How does identity security need to evolve to enable innovation and secure growth in the age of AI?

AI Is Changing Everything—And Identity Must Evolve

This year’s Identiverse made one thing clear: we’re entering a new era, where NHIs vastly outnumber human identities (no one has the exact number, but everyone agrees they’re growing exponentially). Autonomous AI agents can now act with increasing complexity and independence. These are non-human identities with decision-making power, behaviors, and risks, just like humans. It demands a radical rethinking of how we secure and manage identities.

Solving this challenge isn’t a solo effort. It calls for cross-functional collaboration, industry-wide standards, and technology solutions that are built for what’s next. That’s what Saviynt brought to the table.

Showcasing the Future: Saviynt at Identiverse

Saviynt's leadership at Identiverse was undeniable. From packed demo sessions to in-depth discussions with peers and practitioners, we showcased the capabilities of our industry leading converged, cloud-native identity security platform - The Identity Cloud - for robust governance of any identity, human or non-human.

Purpose-built to simplify and secure the most complex identity environments, helping organizations eliminate blind spots across cloud and hybrid ecosystems. The platform enables teams to:

  • Centralize and converge identity security through a single control plane that eliminates silos and provides a cohesive user experience, audit and compliance framework, and data model
  • Manage, protect and govern all identities (human or non-human) and applications across any environment, with unlimited scalability and the ability to address new business priorities as they evolve
  • Operate intelligently with greater insights into what is going on within your environment to enforce least privilege access with precise and actionable recommendations, automation throughout your identity program, and self-serviceability that enable faster and more informed decision making

Identity teams walked away with a roadmap to govern NHIs with confidence.

Saviynt Thought Leadership At Identiverse

Identity Security for NHIs and AI

SVP of Strategy Henrique Teixeira moderated a much anticipated panel discussion on the intersection of Agentic AI and NHIs. He challenged the panel of industry experts (including competitors) with critical questions for identity governance in the face of AI. What makes Agentic AI different from other NHIs? What’s the #1 risk with Agentic AI that leaders need to focus on today (and in 5 years)? Who should own NHI management? Spoiler alert: Most people think it’s the IAM leader. Why?

Because no one else has the full context and perspective needed to govern both human and machine identities securely. Henrique’s questions sparked ongoing conversations after the event.

In another panel with standing room only, SVP of Product Management Ehud Amiri and other experts explored the changing market landscape in the face of the emerging NHI risk. They called out the elephant in the room: Most executives don’t know what NHIs are. Until we create shared language and policy frameworks, organizations will remain vulnerable. “We have to do the hard work of solving the problem—and we need to do it—because if we don’t, we are all at risk,” said Ehud.

Empowering the Identity Workforce in the Age of AI

Saviynt’s Field CTO, David Lee, led various sessions and conversations on the changing nature of identity teams–with the call to action to start leading, not just responding.

In "Let’s Be Honest – Your Identity Project Isn’t Stuck, It’s Confused," Lee demystified why many IAM implementations falter. It’s not due to technology, but misalignment of goals. He identified five core failure points, from vague project scoping and stakeholder overload (“too many cooks”), to poor early questioning and communication. His solution? Ask the right questions before kickoff, align security, IT, and business teams through the process he calls, the “IAM Jedi Mind Trick.”

In another session, “Identity: The Superhero No One Invited to the Boardroom,” David reframed IAM as the unsung hero of enterprise security and transformation. He spotlighted the emerging “Identity Plot Twist,” spurred by AI, decentralized systems, and non-human identities (NHIs). He urged IAM to evolve from reactive enabler to proactive strategic player.

IAM leaders must shepherd this shift from support function to boardroom player, showing organizations why they need to treat identity as a mission-critical enterprise capability—and equip it accordingly. (“Be the hero - and get the budget!”)
