Welcome everyone to the first Saviynt Identity Cloud update for 2025! I’d like to take the opportunity to walk you through some key highlights of the latest innovations in the platform. We’re continuing to lead the industry by providing the most comprehensive identity security platform in the market, and with that in mind, the newest updates are focused on three core areas: enhancing the user experience, increasing the extensibility of the platform, and improving identity security posture.
Enhancing the User Experience
Great products have great user experiences, and we’ve been systematically improving the end user experience persona by persona, starting with the largest volume of end users – requesters, approvers, certifiers. With this release, we’re introducing a brand-new user experience with user certifications.
The new UI not only offers improved data representation but also provides greater personalization options for both admins and end users. One-click justifications, which include predefined responses, help simplify and expedite access approvals or rejections. Additionally, we've introduced guided tours for end users who may not regularly use Saviynt, aiming to reduce help desk requests, increase user participation, and promote confident decision-making.

End users can easily sort tasks by priority, see where access has expired and know how far along in the certification process they are.
Expanding the Innovation Ecosystem and Increased Extensibility
We remain committed to a thriving partner and developer ecosystem and are dedicated to leveraging the latest innovations to improve the efficiency to integrate with your preferred systems. Within our own, Saviynt-built integrations, we're adding to our extensive SAP capabilities with more SAP Application onboarding templates and are greatly improving our integrations with Entra ID and ServiceNow, allowing customers to get the most out of their existing investments quickly and efficiently.
We continue to extend the number of third-party developed integration solutions, enabling customers to leverage innovation from across the identity community. Our partners are solving important problems that make integration easier, richer, and more automated. We have announced a number of these partnerships, and are increasingly seeing the technology and developer community embrace our open marketplace with the latest technological improvements in AI.
We're also excited to announce we've created a new framework to support integration with leading identity (ID) proofing vendors. ID proofing — the process of collecting documentation to confirm an individual’s identity — is another aspect becoming increasingly important for identity security today. Saviynt customers can now seamlessly integrate Saviynt Identity Cloud with their existing ID proofing provider. This new “bring-your-own” (BYO) capability allows organizations to better prevent fraud and identity-based attacks across their enterprise.
Lastly, we are adopting a new “app store” model for custom extensions for our services partners and customers. In this model we are happy to host a variety of extensions in our platform after they pass through a certification process that addresses common concerns such as security, quality and stability. We are continuing to expand and harden our APIs and remain committed to being the most extensible Identity Security platform.
Improving Identity Security Posture
We are aggressively adding functionality to existing products and expanding the capabilities of the platform to give our customers additional tools to more effectively manage their Identity Security.
Intelligent Recommendations is now generally available as an add-on for IGA and External customers. This is already our fastest growing new product ever and early adopter feedback has been amazing. Intelligent Recommendations uses the latest innovations in AI and Machine Learning to help our end users make better decisions about who has access to what. Recommendations are provided for requesters to improve productivity, and for key decision makers – approvers, certifiers, data owners, role owners, etc. – to reduce rubber stamping and improve security and compliance.
Within our external capabilities, we are adding several new features to improve identity security. We mentioned support for identity verification, a key new feature to extend the platform’s ability to establish trust in external users. We are also adding the ability to classify different types of external users and drive controls from that classification. Whether you are talking about franchisees or contractors, or hundreds of other types of third parties, you will be able to easily identify different types of users and tag them as a particular type of user. With that information, you can then drive different identity security processes depending on the risks of that particular population.
One of the key benefits of a truly converged platform, organically built on a single code base, is the ability to quickly roll out new products and features that build on and advance the capabilities that already exist on the platform, configured in a different way to solve a different problem. We are excited to introduce a groundbreaking product – Just-in-Time Access, which seamlessly integrates with your landscape and is designed to address a critical challenge in today’s cloud-based application landscape. Many of these platforms have high risk, often shared accounts that are beyond the scope of traditional PAM products, and unsupported by legacy IGA solutions. Just-in-Time Access reduces the attack surface by first discovering users and shared accounts with high-risk access, then giving you tools to remove these standing privileges, and providing just in time, and just enough access for these high-risk accounts. It is a true game changer in Identity Security and a logical evolution of our platform.
Finally, multi-factor authentication (MFA) is an important tool to verify the identity of a user. We are adding the ability to invoke MFA in various workflows in the platform to allow for a “step up authentication” for high-risk scenarios such as launching a privileged session into a server residing in your critical infrastructure.
Our focus remains on continuously improving Saviynt Identity Cloud to meet our customers’ needs with the most powerful, flexible and extensible converged identity platform in the industry. These new features and capabilities are the first step in what will be an exciting year in the evolution of identity security by Saviynt.
Additional details regarding these features and capabilities can be found in our documentation portal, as well as informational videos in Saviynt University. Within the documentation, you’ll also find information on other feature enhancements that are a part of this release across the platform’s IGA, application access governance (AAG), PAM, and external identity capabilities.
We’re diligently working on several enhancements to our platform and would love to hear your feedback. Please reach out to us at feedback@saviynt.com with any questions, concerns, thoughts, or ideas.
