Overview
Using Okta for Single Sign-On (SSO) with SAML 2.0 in Saviynt Identity Cloud facilitates secure and efficient user authentication. By configuring Okta as the identity provider, users can access Saviynt Identity Cloud with their Okta credentials. This involves setting up SAML 2.0 integration by exchanging metadata between Okta and Saviynt, configuring the SAML settings such as the Single Sign-On URL, Audience URI (SP Entity ID), and Attribute Statements. Once the setup is complete, authentication requests are managed by Okta, which verifies the user's credentials and sends a SAML assertion to Saviynt. This integration enhances security by centralizing authentication and simplifies the user experience by providing seamless access to Saviynt Identity Cloud through Okta's platform.
