The COVID-19 pandemic significantly shifted the employment landscape. Workplace experience and culture came under sharp scrutiny. Employees navigated work from home, zoom fatigue, and increased competing demands from work and home life. The importance of a healthy corporate culture and the sense of purpose you derive from your company’s mission crystallized as key points driving performance and overall satisfaction.

At Saviynt, we strive to keep employees engaged and productive by helping them see the positive and sustainable impact they make every day. Sure, we’re building innovative identity and security solutions that help the world’s largest companies securely transform their business. And we work daily to solve the toughest security challenges in the industry today. But we know we can’t do any of that without our people. Saviynt is fortunate to have a global group of dedicated and passionate innovators devoted to creating game-changing technology, and we’d like to introduce you to them.

Meet Nitin Gupta

Nitin leads Saviynt’s Technical Training & Certification department and has worked with Saviynt since 2019. When not at work, you can find Nitin playing leather ball cricket tournaments on the weekends. What is your role at Saviynt, and what does an average day look like?

I am responsible for leading Saviynt’s Technical Training & Certification department. As part of this role, I manage the delivery and content development functions of our training programs. Enablement is one of the key priorities for us as a company, and my team’s work helps ensure that our worldwide customers, partners, and internal employees are educated about our products, security & identity best practices, and optimization strategies for Saviynt products across enterprise use cases.

What gets you out of bed in the morning?

Educating and helping others is something I strive to do each day. It energizes me. Training has been my passion for more than a decade, and I simply love it. In my view, high-quality training makes an enormous difference in the lives of our customers, partners, and even our team members here at Saviynt. Training directly impacts how people use our product, which affects their return on investment (ROI). What we do directly influences the success of both our business and our customers. Knowing that my team and I are responsible for making it easier for people to be successful in their roles keeps me going.

My favorite thing about working at Saviynt is the constant tech innovation and adaptation the company has undergone as the cyber landscape has evolved. As a company, we focus on building innovative identity and security solutions that solve major industry problems. So, we are always looking to improve our product and adapt to the needs of our clients. Our Enterprise Identity Cloud (EIC) solution is a perfect example of this consistent commitment to creating smarter security solutions.

How has Saviynt impacted your life and career?

Saviynt has rapidly evolved from a startup to becoming a mature organization in the last couple of years. As a result, we are experiencing exponential growth as a company. This surge has meant that there is an ample amount of career advancement opportunities that challenge you to reach beyond the simple day-to-day routine and build your skills. In my time here, Saviynt has provided me with constant opportunities to learn to be a better leader and bring my ideas to the table as I continue to improve our training programs.

How has Saviynt challenged you to become better at what you do?

In a growing company — even a mature one — you come across situations where processes and procedures aren’t clearly defined. This can be both a challenge and an opportunity. When I joined Saviynt in 2019, the training department had just started taking shape. This nascent state allowed me the opportunity to build a world-class training program. Doing so helped me hone my management, strategic planning, and team-building skills. It involved identifying and hiring talented staff, establishing processes, and expanding the training curriculum. It also offered me a chance to work on new initiatives such as the Saviynt Certification Program. In this role, I have been able to put all my experience to use and perfect many new skills.

What are you most excited about as you look toward your future with Saviynt?

The past couple of years have been amazing. We are now entirely focused on the upcoming Saviynt Certification Program, which is launching soon. This new program will provide a platform for our partners, customers, and employees to take an exam and become qualified as a Saviynt Certified Professional. We will be announcing more details about this program in the next couple of weeks. Stay tuned!

What would you say to someone who is considering working at Saviynt?

Saviynt is an exciting company on an aggressive growth trajectory. We’re looking for great people who are passionate and dedicated to changing the cybersecurity landscape. If you feel comfortable working in a fast-paced environment where cutting-edge innovation is a daily goal — we’re looking for you.  If you aren’t unnerved by a little ambiguity, and you are a person who thinks outside the box, then Saviynt is the right place for you.
