Tell us a little bit about what you do at Saviynt.
I lead the stellar sales enablement team at Saviynt, where we’re all about helping our sellers—both internal and partners—be rockstars. We work to make sure they have the training, tools, and resources they need to confidently talk about Saviynt solutions and help organizations meet their identity security goals. My team is behind the scenes, fine-tuning our messaging and arming our sellers with tools to make them successful. It’s exciting to see the impact we make when our sellers feel empowered and ready to win.
How did you get started in your present career? What do you love about the kind of work you do? What brought you to Saviynt?
I never planned to be in identity—who does? My degrees are in math and forensic science and I began my career in national security with the FBI then as a counterintelligence agent with the NSA and US Army. I made the move into tech first as a product owner at a healthcare IT company and later as a strategic consultant with a cybersecurity firm. I’ve spent over a decade now helping clients and product vendors untangle identity challenges. My favorite part is problem-solving: figuring out what’s wrong then finding and effectively communicating a solution that works, whether that’s an identity security challenge or a go-to-market challenge. I came to Saviynt because I wanted to be part of something innovative and impactful—and, even more importantly, I followed my favorite people here! What goals are you working toward professionally?
These days I’m focused on making tech and identity a more inclusive space. There’s still a lot of work to do around diversity, and I’ve seen firsthand the challenges women and other underrepresented groups face. I’m committed to advocating for more awareness, breaking down barriers, and creating opportunities for those who might not see themselves represented in our industry yet. I want to be a voice for change, pushing for more diversity not just in who we hire, but in how we grow and promote talent.
What’s one workplace rule that you always break and why?
Not sure if I should admit to this, but I’m all about bending the “no shortcuts” rule. Sometimes the fastest path to the answer is the best one. I believe in working smarter, not harder, and if that means bypassing a few conventional steps to get to the solution faster, count me in!
What do you do when you aren’t working at Saviynt? What’s your favorite way to relax?
I’m an avid trail runner and love to just be outside in the wilderness — I’ve trekked 48 miles across the Grand Canyon from Rim-to-Rim-to-Rim and completed a few ultramarathon mountain bike races and trail runs in Leadville, Colorado. Lately, my runs are more about enjoying nature than pushing my limits, but there’s likely another epic running adventure at some point in my future. I’ve also been on a bit of a digital nomad journey this year, exploring new places to find my next home base with my ten-year-old Weimaraner, Kayla, along for the ride

How do you define success?
Success, to me, isn’t about titles or hitting some specific milestone. It’s about waking up excited for the day, working alongside good people, delivering on my commitments, and feeling aligned with who I am and what I stand for. When I’m in tune with my values and doing work that feels meaningful, that’s when I know I’m successful.
Who inspires you? Or if you could choose anyone as a mentor, who would you choose and why?
I’m inspired by women who aren’t afraid to be themselves and who lift each other up—people like Brené Brown and Glennon Doyle who talk openly about courage, vulnerability, and authenticity. They both remind me that real strength comes from being true to yourself and supporting others along the way. I’m all about women who break barriers and then turn around to help the next person in line. Glennon’s book Untamed has made an impact on me recently. It’s about embracing who you are and breaking free from the expectations that hold you back. I found it really inspiring and can’t stop recommending it to friends, particularly those navigating big changes in their lives.
What’s something about you (a fun fact) that not many people know?
I’ve got a creative side that not many people see (outside of the occasional Powerpoint deck anyway!). I love to sketch, draw, and create when I can find the time. Art has always been a way for me to unwind and express myself outside of work. I don’t get to do it as often as I’d like, but when I do, it’s a great escape from the hustle. It’s a bit of a hidden passion that keeps me grounded and lets me tap into a different part of my brain—one that doesn’t revolve around deadlines and deliverables.
