Saviynt Believes It’s Blazing a Trail on the Path to IGA Leadership
Saviynt Named a Leader in Gartner 2018 Magic Quadrant for Identity and Governance Administration
We just announced last week that Saviynt has been named as a Leader in the 2018 Gartner Magic Quadrant for Identity Governance and Administration. We view this as no small feat, as we feel this is a market segment that has been around for well over 20 years with several established players, and our journey there took 4 years. Granted, our founder, as well as most of our core staff are industry experts, but we think, for a relatively new company to be included in the Leaders quadrant of any Gartner Magic Quadrant within such a short amount of time deserves some reflection.

Gartner first included Saviynt in the Magic Quadrant for Identity and Governance Administration in 2016 as a Niche Player. That said, we feel that simply being placed on the Magic Quadrant means that we have met evaluation criteria as laid out at the end of the report. We believe we were included in the Magic Quadrant that year due to our growing influence in the market, especially around our ability to offer fine-grained and deep integrations that work across multiple applications and infrastructure. We also believe our integrated approach to IGA, for example, our ability to combine SOD (Segregation of Duties) controls management and monitoring, data access governance and cloud security in an integrated solution, has helped differentiate us from the rest of the pack.
In 2017, we moved into the Challengers quadrant. In our view, this was a major milestone for the company, and we believe it was due to our offering being the most comprehensive IGA solution delivered as a service. In addition, we believe that our focus on leveraging Identity Analytics to improve IGA processes helped our customers rapidly deliver value to their business. Furthermore, we feel that we also successfully expanded into EMEA and APAC regions and we continue to grow from strength to strength even today.
Which brings us to this year, 2018. Being placed in the Leaders quadrant was, to us, an accomplishment that everyone here felt was truly amazing. We believe it affirmed our ambitious vision, and most importantly, our ability to execute on it. We strive for continuous innovation and working on several innovative technologies such as RPA (Robotic Process Automation), Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence to make IGA solution effective and efficient. We also believe that our continually growing customer base, from mega-sized companies as well as not so big companies, has helped hone our solution and was a significant factor in the move to the Leaders quadrant.
In summary, we think that this is a validation to our commitment for delivering a holistic IGA solution that goes beyond the traditional set of old-school features, allowing companies to truly embrace the next generation solution. If you’re looking to upgrade your Identity Governance and Administration solution, or are realizing that your homegrown solution isn’t meeting your needs, we believe that you should check out this report or give us a call, and we’ll be happy to walk through our solution to see how it would help you and your organization.
