IT Technical Trainer

Location – Bangalore, India

The IT Trainer is primarily responsible for technical training projects and programs. The IT Trainer assesses training needs, designs, delivers and evaluates quality training for employees, partners, and customers onsite or remote locations. The IT Trainer performs Firm-wide training for onboarding new employees. The IT Trainer assesses training needs of individuals and then develops and maintains instructional materials to meet those needs and provides users with the necessary product training to function in their jobs through the delivery of one-on-one and/or classroom instruction, in-person or remote.

Technical Training Function

  • Planning of training and communication of large technical rollouts
  • Deliver remote and classroom-based training
  • Work with the Delivery managers and Sales Teams to coordinate training needs for their customers and users
  • Work in collaboration with the Senior Trainer to plan, track, and update tasks related to training and communication of large technical rollouts
  • Onboard, train and collaborate with contract IT Trainers and other technical vendors

Design Training Content

  • Prepare, develop, plan, and organize course materials (including handouts, manuals, exercises, email tips and quick reference guides) on existing core applications, and new product rollouts
  • Develop training curriculum for super-users of technology, including the Implementation teams
  • Design, prepare and develop content for Learning management system

Conduct and Evaluate Training

  • Responsible for scheduling training sessions
  • Provide Firm-wide training in accordance with the needs of the Firm
  • Schedule and train new hires, employees and customers on the software and how use cases may be implemented
  • Offer best practice coaching to service professionals designed to better use the Saviynt features
  • Conduct specialized training workshops to raise technical proficiency of end-users

Minimum Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor degree in Business, Information Systems, or equivalent social sciences degree, preferred
  • Experience in technical writing
  • Minimum three (3) years of relevant experience in a training department. Domain expertise in Identity and Access Management preferred but not mandatory
  • Possess effective interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills to facilitate effective work relationships with all levels of personnel
  • Must effectively communicate with all levels of personnel, have excellent attention to detail, and work well under pressure
  • Excellent organizational skills, and ability to strategize, and multi-task, required
  • Possess an exemplary customer service mindset, be highly motivated, and enjoy a team-oriented atmosphere
  • Demonstrate logic, reasoning skills, analysis and interpretation to resolve problems
  • Perform as a team player
  • An ownership mentality, a commitment to proactive communication and exceptional follow-through skills are essential for success in this position
  • Ability to convey ideas both verbally and in written form, work independently, and prioritize job responsibilities
  • Must possess strong process design and continuous improvement skills
  • Available and able to travel
